Synopsis

In this chilling tale, Dr. Génessier, a guilt-ridden surgeon, becomes obsessed with restoring his daughter Christiane's beauty after a car accident that he caused leaves her face horribly disfigured. Believed dead by the outside world, Christiane lives in isolation while her father goes to monstrous lengths to make amends for his mistake. With the help of his accomplice Louise, Dr. Génessier kidnaps young women, harvesting their faces in a desperate attempt to give Christiane a new identity.
