Synopsis

New York publishing executive Shep Henderson is due to marry his fiancée Merle on Christmas Day. That is until his fiercely independent neighbour Gillian takes a liking to him, and decides to break the couple up by bewitching Shep on Christmas Eve. It shouldn’t be too difficult as Gillian comes from a family of witches! But will she go through with her plans, or heed warnings from her brother and aunt that she will lose her powers if she falls in love with a mortal?

Released on Christmas Day in 1958 with James Stewart and Kim Novak teaming up again after Vertigo, alongside a memorable cat named Pyewacket, Bell, Book and Candle is a fun and sexy classic romantic comedy.
