NAUGHTY OR NICE: CHRISTMAS AT PÁLÁS
Cinephiles can always find a reason to celebrate at Pálás. As Noirvember gives way to December, so Bogey makes way for Jimmy. Our screens become resplendent in technicolour, and snowy vistas in black and white. The best films of the season make up this year’s Naughty or Nice list, from a 70th Anniversary screening of Michael Curtiz’s White Christmas, to another look at last year’s instant Christmas classic, Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers. Then come and ‘have what she’s having’ to ring in the New Year with some Nora Ephron.
