Japanese Film Festival at Light House & Pálás
The Embassy of Japan in Ireland and access>CINEMA are delighted to bring the Japanese Film Festival back for its 15th edition.
This year’s line-up includes the Irish premieres of exceptional dramas such as Egoist, Ichiko and Shadow of Fire; comedies such as time-loop office satire Mondays and the wild horror-comedy Love Will Tear Us Apart; and of course new anime titles like Lonely Castle in the Mirror and Komada: A Whisky Family. And we hope Irish audiences will enjoy a special insight into Japanese culture and traditions with films such as Tsugaru Lacquer Girl and Yudo: The Way of the Bath.
The festival kicks off on April 11 in both venues with the Irish premiere of Egoist in Dublin and Ryuichi Sakamoto: Opus in Galway.
